You’ve used Google every day for years. But here’s a question:
When was the last time you clicked on Page 2?
Most people never do... and that’s exactly how Google wants it.
Your business might be solid. But if it’s sitting on page 2, chances are, you’re losing clients every time someone hits "search."
Here's the thing, most businesses stuck on page 2,3,5, or even 7, aren’t bad - they’re just missing the signals Google needs to trust them. Some of it is:
Local search intent,
SEO,
...and a bunch of technical stuff most people never even think about
Because here’s the thing, according to Google, 92% of people never click past page 1.(And that’s exactly what Google relies on.)
Only the first 3–5 results get clicks. So if your business isn’t showing up there?
You’re competition is stealing your clients, even if they’re not better than you. Just because they show up first.
This is something I’d recommend every business look into.
But of course, easier said than done. We help clients put this together and I've been working on a report about this exact subject. When it's done, I'll let you know where to download it.
In the meantime, give some thought to how much of a massive difference this could make for your business... if you were the first business they saw it they looked you up.
